Once upon a time, at a printing exhibition in the UK, a German colleague told me that "Kyle" sounded like "kiel" in German, which means Ramp or Wedge. A color ramp being a basic component of color management, they called me "Colourkiel"for the rest of the show. I've kept it in the back of my head ever since.
